12.5 Harvest Order
The harvest order screen displays the polygons and some basic information in the order in which they will be scheduled for harvest. The initial order will be the same as the order in Polygon Data, though this may be modified:
  • as noted above in section "12.2 Sort" page 12-73.
  • use the Top, Up, Down, Bottom buttons to move polygons around. This should be used to reflect the operational factors such as access, disease centers and items shown in a forest development plan.


The following lists information variables displayed:

C= Crown, P= Private, T= Top up, O= Other

AgeCurrent Age of the polygon (years) from Polygon Data
HarvNumber of years since the polygon has been available for harvest. Positive numbers refer to years past harvest age; Negative numbers refer to years before harvest age
Area (ha)Net operable area of the polygon from Polygon Data


12.5.1 Included Polygons
All polygons listed in the "Included" box will be used in the harvest rate calculations. To exclude a polygon, double click on it, and it will be stored in the "Excluded" list until required for a subsequent calculation.

12.5.2 Excluded Polygons
NONE of the polygons listed in the "Excluded" box will be used in the harvest rate calculations. To include a polygon, double click on it, and it will be moved to the bottom of the "Included" list for a subsequent calculation. This polygon may then be re-sorted with the others.

Polygons will be placed in the Excluded box by WOODLOT if they are missing yield information.

12.5.3 Up / Down
You may move a polygon's order for harvest by selecting the polygon and clicking on the Up or Down buttons. This will move the polygon one position up or down.

12.5.4 Top / Bottom
You may move a polygon's order for harvest by selecting the polygon and clicking on the Top or Bottom buttons. This will move the polygon to the top or the bottom of the list.
