11.5 Harvest Ages You may adjust the harvest ages by polygon with this screen. To adjust harvest ages, select the polygons you would like to adjust by clicking on them. Using the Edit button, you may select all the polygons for a quick revision to all. Alternately, you may select a number of polygons using keystrokes (ctrl + "mouse click", or Shift + "mouse click"). 11.5.1 Update Harvest Ages Button You can activate changes by clicking the Update Harvest Ages button. This will revise all polygons you have selected in the Summary Screen. 11.5.2 Amount This is the amount to increase or decrease the harvest age by. This amount will depend greatly on the process selected. Use negative numbers to decrease the harvest age (e.g. entering "-10" for amount and "Years above current harvest age" would reduce the harvest age of selected polygons by 10 years.) 11.5.3 Process Process Name Description Years above current harvest age Increases or decrease the harvest rate by amount specified. Years above culmination Change harvest rate to culmination +/- amount specified. % older than culmination Change harvest ages by a percent more or less than culmination. Volume above current harvest volume Increase or decreases harvest age by requiring more or less volume for harvesting % volume above current harvest volume % Increase or decreases harvest age by requiring more or less volume for harvesting Volume above culmination Increase or decreases harvest age by requiring more or less volume for harvesting relative to culmination. % Volume above culmination % Increase or decreases harvest age by requiring more or less volume for harvesting relative to culmination. This Age Sets the harvest age to the amount specified Default Age Back to the default age specified by harvest parameters 11.5.4 Ignore Harvest Parameters The internal updating features in WOODLOT will check to make sure that all harvest parameters are still met. You may have WOODLOT ignore the harvest parameters you have set by clicking on this feature. 11.5.5 Update 1st Harvest Age When checked the first harvest ages of selected polygons will be updated by the amount and process select above. 11.5.6 Update Future Harvest Age When checked the future harvest ages of selected polygons will be updated by the amount and process select above.
