11.0 Summary The Summary screen is used to: display basic polygon information for a quick check adjust harvest parameters on the entire woodlot adjust the silviculture system for one or many polygons adjust the harvest ages for one or many polygons Like other screens in WOODLOT, this also includes a command line for File and Edit. The are used to quickly show whether the harvest age is set above or below the culmination age. The * is used to show whether minimum harvest parameters have been met. To edit information by polygon, click on one polygon. Multiple polygons may be highlighted for editing holding down the Ctrl key or Shift key as you select polygons. 11.1 Description of Columns Summary information is provided for the following: Variable Column Description COMMON Mapsheet Mapsheet entered in Polygon Data ID Polygon Number entered in Polygon Data Area (ha) Net area entered in Polygon Data Age (yrs) Current age of the stand entered in Polygon Data EXISTING MANAGEMENT Y Existing Yield Type, either V= VDYP, or T=TIPSY Age (yrs) Target harvest age for the existing stand, set in Polygon Data Vol (m3/ha) Target harvest volume for the existing stand, set in Polygon Data MAI Target mean annual increment based on the target age and volume FUTURE MANAGEMENT Y Future Yield Type, either V= VDYP, or T=TIPSY Age (yrs) Target harvest age for the subsequent rotations, set in Polygon Data Vol (m3/ha) Target harvest volume for the subsequent rotations, set in Polygon Data MAI Target mean annual increment based on the target age and volume SILVICULTURE Partial Cut (%) Target % volume removal for partial cut stands, set in Polygon Data Partial Cut (yrs) Target reentry period for subsequent partial cuts, set in Polygon Data 11.2 File menu 11.2.1 Save Save the current file with the current file name. If there is not a current file name the save as dialog box will appear asking for the new file name. 11.2.2 SaveAs Saves the current file with a new filename and/or a new location. The file will be save in the current version's format. 11.2.3 Ok This item will close the polygon window and open the main menu. 11.3 Edit menu 11.3.1 Copy Summary Puts the summary data on the "Clipboard", which can then be pasted into a document or spreadsheet. 11.3.2 Select All Selects and highlights all polygons for editing silviculture systems and harvest age.
