WOODLOT for Windows 2.1 - Reference Manual

9.2 Polygon Menu
Polygons may be added, renamed, deleted, and undeleted using:
  • the Polygon Menu
  • in the Polygon Data-Common area in Polygon Data
The Polygon Menu activates the various functions to add, rename, delete, and undelete polygons.

This is also where you may determine the PSYU if you do not know.

All of the adding and deleting functions are now also accessible from buttons on the Polygon Data-Common screen.

9.2.1 Add Polygon
CTRLA
If you wish to manually add a polygon, click on this button from the Polygon Data screen, or select it from the above menu.

If you click/select Add Polygon, the following window will appear. The Add Polygon feature will copy data from an existing polygon or the default polygon. Then the polygon number and mapsheet can be changed. Press [OK] to add the new polygon. If the polygon to be added already exists, WOODLOT will stay on the Add Polygon screen.

9.2.2 Rename Polygon
CTRLR
Select the polygon to be renamed and click [Rename]. Two windows will appear, first asking for a new mapsheet name. Enter a new mapsheet name or just press [OK] or « to leave the name unchanged.

Next, a window asking for a new polygon number name will appear.

9.2.3 Delete Polygon
CTRLD
In WOODLOT polygons are not ever completely deleted, they remain in the file. This allows deleted polygons to be undeleted at any time.

9.2.4 Undelete Polygon
CTRLU
Polygons will return to the location in the Mapsheet Polygon list on the Polygon Data screen where they were deleted.

9.2.5 Find PSYU
CTRLN
