Enfor Appraisals - Location Module

Welcome to the Enfor Location software download page.

Enfor Location software accurately measures the distance between cutblocks and closest population centre described in the BC Ministry of Forests Coast and Interior Appraisal Manuals. It is used on MPS timber appraisals in BC, and is part of the Enfor Appraisal’s suite of timber pricing software.

To download a free version of Enfor Location software click here. After a sixty-day trial period, please email or call Enfor Consultants Ltd. for a re-registration.

If you installed a previous version of the software and now get a message like the one to the left, click here to download an update. Unzip this file into the folder where the program is installed to update it. (c:\program files\enfor appraisals\location\")

May 2, 2005 - Verison 1.007 is now available, it contains a few updates, Zoom Window and a fix to allow printing over multiple pages.

Here is a screen capture of the program in use. The mouse can be used to zoom and pan around the map. The table can also be expanded to show all the variables


Block data can be edited in this simple dialog box. When used in conjunction with Enfor Appraisals, data is automatically transfered between the two applications.

The location module currently supports:
  • BC Albers
  • UTM (NAD83 and NAD27)
  • Lat/Long (Decimal Degrees)
  • Lat/Long (Degrees Minutes Seconds)
    • Note: multiple projections can be used at the same time
